About me

Hi, I’m Gio, a fully qualified acupuncturist trained in Integrated Chinese Medicine.

I trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading, where I developed an approach that draws on both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element acupuncture. My aim is to offer thoughtful, tailored care that supports each person as a whole, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.

I’m a member of the British Acupuncture Council, which means I work to high professional and ethical standards in clinical practice.

Alongside my core training, I am continuing my postgraduate studies in gynaecology, fertility, obstetrics, and menopause care. This ongoing study reflects my particular interest in supporting women’s health and fertility with depth, care, and attention to the individual.

Outside the Clinic

Outside the clinic, movement has long been an important part of my life and practice. I have been training in Capoeira for over 10 years, and it remains one of my main disciplines.

I also practise Qi Gong daily, and have previously trained in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. My movement practice now combines martial arts, gymnastics, and calisthenics.

This ongoing relationship with movement informs how I understand the body: as something dynamic, adaptable, and deeply connected. It continues to shape the grounded, attentive way I work with patients.

If you are looking for acupuncture support for fertility, women’s health, pain relief, or stress and sleep concerns, you’re welcome to explore my services or book a treatment.
